Somatic Integration through Manual Application (SIMA) combines therapeutic knowledge that allows the practitioner to assess and effectively treat somatic dysfunctions.
To effectively treat somatic dysfunctions, we need to understand the underlying structural changes that have caused these somatic dysfunctions in the first place.
We also need to understand the importance of integration. The living human organism is unit, where anatomy and physiology continuously interplay to establish and maintain homeostasis. The goal of any treatment is to support the body’s autoregulation, self-correction, and self-healing capacities.
